The Goldfinch viewed early in the morning about 7:30 from a big, year around turnoff and parking area with 3 informational viewing stands right next to Colorado Highway 550. You will see a small yellow arrow pointing to a physical yellow square which is on the property (in form of a painted 4 by 8 foot piece of plywood) where my proposed building site is and where I presently stay in my camper for the summers. Because of limitations on the size of photos on this website, to see more detail on these photos, a quick, simple way is to right click and select "select as background," look at the photo and return to your previous "background." Depending on your computer and your own computer knowledge, there are other ways of doing this, MSPaint, for example.
The picture below is taken from the big, year around turnoff and parking area 5 miles North of Silverton, Colorado, off of Colorado Highway 550. There are 3 informational viewing stands at this spot. The photo was taken about 7:30 in the morning about 100 feet to the right of the viewing stands. The tiny yellow arrow points to a yellow square that physically sits on my proposed building site. Ths small yellow squares show the center and the right and left boundaries. The small yellow arrow at bottom left shows the Southeast corner of the property which is about 400 feet off camera in the direction the arrow is pointing. The property is 300 feet wide and 1500 feet long and is the only private property in that entire vallley down to County Road 7 off of Highway 550.
This is a photo of my truck pointing towards the 3 informational viewing stands and The Goldfinch beyond that, across The Iron Fens and Mineral Creek. There is a small yellow arrow in this photo pointing to an 4 by 8 foot piece of plywood that I painted yellow. This plywood sits on my proposed building site.
